Can someone please help me to stop listening to this album? I'm addicted. I've listened to half of Orbital II and a bit of Silver Mt. Zion in the last few days (along with the obligatory you know who) otherwise it's been all Portishead all the time. Wow, is all I can say. Machine Gun is the best industrial track I've heard in years...and it is by Portishead!? This is definitely my album of the year so far.

Halcyon On and On - Orbital. I've forgotten how good these guys were Foo x That album is magical. I know I have raved about it on here several times before but The Brown Album is a five star classic for me. What a shame they called it quits, I thought The Blue Album was a return to form. I need to dig out II immediately... I'm listening to "Time Becomes" by Orbital There is the theory of The Mobius
A twist in the fabric of space where time becomes a loop where time becomes a loop where time becomes a loop where time becomes a loop where time becomes a loop

Absolutely amazing album. It has such a dark and sparse sound, with this cozy streak of warmth running through it. mmmmm
I've never been wowed by a Portishead album before, but I becoming quite absorbed in this splendid disc!

What exactly is Trent up to. Not long after ghosts volume I was offered free to fans, and volumes II-IV at a nominal cost, NIN has provided a new (more traditional) release for the low low cost of nothing. There were like 6 years between The Downward Spiral and The Fragile, and now we are getting more output than the average fan is likely able to process. Anyway here is the link: dl.nin.com/theslip/signup
